Welcome to Ty Gwyn Holidays at Penylan Farm in Herefordshire’s Golden Valley, a stone’s throw from the Black Mountains. We’re home to the brand new Scrumpy Hut, the completely unique Cider Shack (as seen on TV), the delightful Yarlington Dairy, the ever-popular Cider Site and, of course, Ty Gwyn Cider.

Meet The Scrumpy Hut!

New in 2025, it’s the latest addition to the accommodation here on our working Herefordshire cider farm. Our largest property so far, The Scrumpy Hut sleeps up to 5 plus an infant. It blends the quirkyness of The Cider Shack with the home comforts of Yarlington Dairy.

The completely unique Cider Shack has been more than a year in the making. You may have seen it on the telly – it was a star of the BBC’s ‘My Unique B&B’. This cosy cabin suits couples or solo travellers who adore the outdoors and crave the quirky but love a few little luxuries (such as the famous outdoor bath!).
